Allie Gaines is a PhD candidate focusing on food policy and the sustainability of the packaged food supply. She is a member of the Grantham Institute’s Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet Doctoral Training programme and the student co-chair of the Researchers’ Society in the MRC Centre for Environment and Health. Professionally, Allie has worked in healthcare technology, product design and computer science. She holds an MSc from University of Oxford in Global Health Science and a BSc from Cornell University in Information Science, Systems and Technology.
